Everything was pretty much as expected, and I feel I got my money’s worth, and I had a great time seeing Japan

I give a 5 because the hotels were as expected—small-ish rooms but clean, hotels often with hot springs, breakfasts good enough, locations definitely acceptable

Certainly good enough
