All the hotels were excellent, but the Nono Osaka and Kyoto hotels seemed overstretched and the staff had difficulty keeping up with the demands. That said, both were comfortable and well located. We couldn\'t help but notice that compared to the Nono Kanazawa, these two venues seemed a little under stress.

mostly we were eating on our own. The food at Ryoso Kawaguchi in Miyajim was especially good, amazing even, and the couple that run the ryokan are like magicians in their ability to juggle all the tasks involved so effortlessly.

Fuji-san guided us around Tokyo one day. He is the best!
