Review

The National Parks were great. Enjoyed the ropeway gondola ride. Didn\'t have to see the glassworts in September when it was just a reddish marsh. Wished we could have spent more time to explore Hakodate instead of just leaving us at the Fish market by the Shinkansen station, A long and potentially dangerous and uninteresting hike around the marshland around the crane center.

Excellent onsen.

Great buffets could have reduced the kaiseki dinner from 3 to one. Didn\'t need the kaiseki breakfast nor the Izakaya dinner. Wasn\'t told how much we could budget our izakaya dinner for.

Mike didn\'t share much about our sites in Hokkaido. He basically was just our van driver who didn\'t seem to be interested in our group. Would have helped us to have a more knowledgeable local guide at each of our locations.

For the price we paid for the tour, a more professional handbook with maps and history could have helped.

Fairly decent, but the people had to haul heavy luggage to and from the van most days which was difficult for some seniors.
