Really enjoyed Yakushima. Day of visiting temples could be dropped, visited plenty of temples on other days.

Good location of hotels. Rooms small but that is Japan.

Breakfasts were very good with wide selection of foods. Dinners at onsens were very good. Included lunches ok but could be improved. Sayonara dinner was very disappointing compared to many other meals. Missed not having any true Kaiseki meals.

Ken was great, really added to the tour.

Generally good, could include more background on sites visited. Suggested movies to view not very good. “The Last Samurai” should be on list.

A few hiccups, lunch reservations on wrong day, no reservations for some meals required changing of restaurant. Wasted a fair amount of time waiting for guides to obtain admission tickets, transportation tickets.

Love the trains and subways in Japan. A lot of stairs for guests using roller boards.
