Overall a really great experience! There were some things I would like to change in the future, like the hotel beds, and lowering the amount of cities we hit to further enjoy the larger spots, but such an incredible experience from start to finish. Also huge thank you to Mike for helping us rebook from Koyo-san to Osaka when we got stuck and missed our trains. That was a bit of a stressful situation, but he helped us through it step by step and with near immediate reply\'s.

Itinerary

I think it was great hitting so many different places, but I also feel like we didnt get as much time to enjoy and experience the larger places like Tokyo. Loved Hakone and Takayama.

Lodging

Didn\'t love that the standard was two twins. I completely understand in the Japanese style rooms, but for the more westernized hotels where it is offered, I feel that should be worked into the tour price already.

Food

Food was fantastic!

Guides

Yuriko Kimura was absolutely phenomenal. We adored her and she was so incredibly helpful. She took us to an amazing lunch spot, and even stuck around with us past when the guided tour required her too. She also checked in on us when we got stuck in the Typhoon Shinkansen delays and couldn\'t make our connecting trains. 10/10 she is amazing.

Pre-Tour Handbook

Loved the highly detailed itinerary! It was extremely helpful. I think the tour handbook should be updated a bit to 2023. Same goes with the things to do document.

Tour Organization

Great organization of the tour! A bit more communication on the front end would have been nice, but I understand everyone is super short staffed these days.
