Overall we loved our tour -- wish we had had at least 2 additional days so we could have spent extra time in a couple places. Very memorable and one we won\'t forget. We would be happy to be a reference for Samurai Tours should you need us for someone else. I selected Samurai based on info I read online. We were not disappointed. Itinerary

very well organized, complete, and easy to follow (once we actually arrived). It worked out exactly as our family needed - perfect fit!

Lodging

We loved the Japanese traditional inn in Takayama the best. The only hotel that we might have preferred a slight upgrade was the Dormy Inn in Kanazawa.

Food

We only had breakfasts in our itinerary -- the best one was at the Japanese Inn in Takayama. Good selection of Japanese and Western style foods in all places otherwise.

Guides

Our guide in Tokyo \"Kay\" was very good. We asked for a last minute addition based on something our daughter had read about and she easily worked it into our day.

Tour Organization

very well organized! Everything was right on target when we got to Japan - we were very happy with our tour.
