We loved it! Only one thing I would do differently: We stayed in too many Royokans! They were all wonderful but after the first two, when we realized that we didn\'t have a bed for the rest of the day for a little afternoon nap, we would have preferred a western hotel. And the included meals, although lovely, were more limited in food scope.

Pre-Tour Handbook

Emily and I greatly appreciated the detailed notes that were given for our day to day travels. After our wonderful orientation with our Tokyo guide, we were on our way and had a wonderful and fairly trauma free rail experience. We became quite adept at getting around the country.

Tour Organization

We loved everything that we did and would not have missed any of our experiences. The detailed notes were mostly very clear and easy to understand. We could not have traveled independently without them!!
